Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP)
Our therapeutic, intensive outpatient programs (IOP) are provided by expert, experienced clinicians and include process and educational group discussions. Groups focus on life skills training, recovery skills, communication and relationship skills and relapse prevention plans. Our services are designed to provide a smooth transition from inpatient to home, or to help prevent the need for an inpatient admission. Our caring staff will work with you to help you be successful with your mental health treatment goals and your life in general. Additional resources and referrals will be discussed as appropriate. West Hills Hospital offers two programs:
Substance Abuse Treatment Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP)

West Hills Hospital Addictions Program Mission Statement
The West Hills Hospital addictions program was created in order to:
- Assist patients in gaining sobriety through teaching substance abuse lessons, process groups and introduction to community-based support systems.
- Assist patients in changing thoughts, behaviors and attitudes that have led to life problems.
- Assist patients in developing a continuing aftercare plan, including intensive outpatient and aftercare programs, in order to improve their quality of life, enhance family relationships, and become productive members of society.
